PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a click mechanism which yields a good click feeling, can be assembled easily, and fabricated into a compact and thinner type. SOLUTION: The click mechanism has a click repulsion unit 40 which comprises: a slide member 49 having a click depress portion 493; a guide member 45 for slidably guiding the slide member 49; an elastic repulsion means 46 for urging the slide member 49 in a direction of the click depress portion 493 provided thereon; and a stop mechanism 458, 496 for stopping the slide member 49 from slinging out of the guide member 45 in the direction of elastic repulsion. The click feeling is created through depressing and releasing operations of the click depress portion 493 of the slide member 49 by means of a depressing portion 56 provided on a moving member 50 moving relatively to the click repulsion unit 40.
