PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of surely connecting terminal fittings and another terminal fittings and to provide a connector housing capable of surely connecting the terminal fittings of a mating connector housing with terminal fittings in the housing. SOLUTION: A connector with locking guarantee mechanism 1 has a female housing 2 and a male housing 3. The female housing 2 has a body part 10 housing a mail terminal and a cylindrical cover part 11. A first rib 51 projecting from the outer surface of the cover part 11 is installed. The male housing 3 has a body part 15 housing a female terminal and a cylindrical cover part 23. A second rib 52 projecting from the inner surface of the cover part 23 is installed. By fitting the female housing 2 and the mail housing 3, the first rib 51 comes in contact with the second rib 52.
