PURPOSE: A crossfire tube, a combustor, and a crossfire tube assembly are provided to reduce the cost and the time for installation by reducing the number of parts. CONSTITUTION: A crossfire tube(10) for attachment between adjacent combustors(12,14) in a land-based gas turbine comprises a substantially cylindrical bellows portion(16) and a pair of uniform diameter free ends(20,22) on opposite sides of the bellows portion. The uniform diameter free ends are adapted to seat within apertures(24,26) provided in the adjacent combustors. The diameters of the substantially uniform diameter free ends are substantially identical to an inner diameter of the bellows portion. The crossfire tube is in combination with a pair of telescoping sleeve members(32,34) adapted to surround the crossfire tube and each telescoping sleeve member is fixed to the adjacent combustors.
