PURPOSE: A PN code search apparatus in a mobile communication terminal is provided to control an operation to be performed between an online search and an offline search by one PN generator. CONSTITUTION: A PN(Personal Number) generator(12) receives a clock signal, thus generates an on-line PN code. The PN generator(12) also generates a PN code in which a timing is changed according to a timing value. A position update unit(100) revises the timing such that an operation of the PN generator is the same as that of an off line operation generator and provides a timing value for returning to the on-line operation. A spreading device(14) spreads channel signals by using the output of the PN generator. |
