PURPOSE: A polluted molten glass recovering apparatus equipped with a receive plate and seesaw unit is provided, which produces lumps of molten glass from polluted molten glass extracted from a refiner. Therefore the apparatus minimizes the formation of powdered glass unlike conventional recovering apparatus. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for recovering polluted molten glass extracted from a refiner comprises the parts of; a receive plate(22) comprising an upper(23) and a lower(24) plate, wherein many grooves for hardening molten glass(G) are formed on the upper side, and cold water(25) for hardening molten glass filled in the grooves(23a) flows between upper and lower plates for hardening the polluted molten glass dropped from an outlet(12) connected to a refiner; a seesaw unit(20), set on the lower part of the outlet, having a weight(27) at each end; a vessel(30) for collecting hardened molten glass(G') dropped from the receive plate due to the seesaw mechanism when the weight of glass lumps is over the limit. |
