CONSTITUTION: When a function of a video processing system is controlled by a user(201), a display position of additional information generated when the function is carried out is set on a region other than a predetermined portion of a displayed image(203). The additional information is displayed at the set display position(204). The predetermined portion of the displayed image corresponds to a region at which the object of the image is displayed. The predetermined portion is a region where information similar to the additional information is displayed.
