PURPOSE: An optical information storage medium adaptable to a screen aspect ratio and a method for reproducing the same are provided to display information of the optical information storage medium without distorting the size and the position of interactive information. CONSTITUTION: A video directory(300) includes a navigation file navigating a file required for reproducing video and audio information, a video title set managing file, a video title menu file, and video and audio contents files to be reproduced. An interactive directory(310) includes files formed of markup language based documents providing a user interactive function, an information search function through a network, and a web site link function. The interactive directory includes various screen mode directories including files constituting pictures according to the size of a screen having a predetermined aspect ratio. Other files(320) store other information.
