PURPOSE: A pedal apparatus is provided to simply control the backward movement without moving a foot and to effectively install in a narrow space by making the size small. CONSTITUTION: A pedal(3) is hinged with the upper part of an operation control valve(1). An auxiliary pedal(5) is installed in front of the pedal crosswise with a certain interval(D) from the upper part of the pedal(3). In rotating the pedal forward with putting a foot on the pedal, heavy equipment is moved forward. In taking away the foot without moving the foot, the pedal is rotated backward by lifting the auxiliary pedal upward. Thereby, the control of the pedal is simple.
