ELECTRO-LUMINESCENT DISPLAY PANEL AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An electro-luminescent display panel and a driving method thereof are provided to remove a blurring phenomenon on a screen and charge the data voltage within a short time by preventing an emitting operation of an electro-luminescent portion in a process for initializing a capacitor of a previous frame. CONSTITUTION: The first switching portion(100) is controlled according to a signal applied to a gate line in order to switch a data signal. A capacitor(110) has the first terminal connected with an output terminal of the first switching portion(100) and the second terminal connected with a supply voltage terminal in order to charge the data voltage. A current mirror portion(120) switches the supply voltage by the voltage induced to the first terminal of the capacitor(110). An electro-luminescent portion(130) emits the light by the supply voltage of the current mirror portion(120). An emission restrain portion(140) discharges the charges of the capacitor(110) of a previous frame to turn off the electro-luminescent portion(130) during a predetermined time.
