PURPOSE: A video phone capable of interworking with a wireless phone is provided to allow the wireless phone to directly control the video phone, and to enable video speech while using a wired phone, so that end users can conveniently use the video phone combined with the general wireless phone. CONSTITUTION: In a wireless phone(50), a displayer(52) displays a phone number for transmission and CID(Caller ID) information of a received call. An MCU(Micro Control Unit)(54) controls the displayer(52), an internal keypad and a speaker, and controls wireless transceiving with an RF(Radio Frequency) base station(44). And a handset RF module(56) changes data inputted from the MCU(54) to an RF band. In a video phone(40), the RF base station(44) receives and processes wireless signals from the wireless phone(5) to deliver the processed wireless signals to a video processor(46). The video processor(46) processes video-related data, compresses and restores audio, and controls entire system. A display unit(41) displays signals from the video processor(46). A camera module(45) delivers external video signals to the video processor(46). And a general phone part(43) is operated as a general voice call phone when power is not applied. And a wireless interface(60) wirelessly transceives signals between the wireless phone(50) and the video phone(40).
