PURPOSE: An air purifier of an air conditioner is provided to simplify structure and to reduce cost by installing a safety switch on a dust collecting case in which a dust collector is installed. CONSTITUTION: An air purifier(80) includes an electric dust collector(81) ionizing and removing dust in air sucked through a suction grill(70); a dust collecting case(82) installed on a heat exchanger(54), and having a storing part formed thereon for the electric dust collector to be mounted thereon; and a switch(86) installed on the dust collecting case, and cutting off power supply to the electric dust collector when the suction grill is separated from a front side of an air conditioner main body(62).
