PURPOSE: A camera capable of photographing in a polaroid mode and a digital mode is provided to enable digital still camera photographing and polaroid camera photographing using one camera. CONSTITUTION: A camera capable of photographing in a polaroid mode and a digital mode includes a finder optical block, a CCD(105), a signal processor(106), a memory(111), a polaroid optical block, a switch(113), and a controller(112). The finder optical block switches a path of lights from an object according to a selected photographing mode. The imaging unit converts the lights from the finder optical block into an electric signal. The signal processor processes the electric signal to generate digital video data. The memory stores the digital video data. The polaroid optical block drives a shutter(108) according to a selected photographing mode to image lights from an object on print paper. The switch is composed of a photographing mode setting switch and a photographing release switch. The controller controls the finder optical block and polaroid optical block to perform photographing in a set photographing mode.
