PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a function expanding device for a digital camera, which is integrally connected to the digital camera and is capable of charging the digital camera and making a data communication through a network. SOLUTION: The function expanding device 6 is provided with a main body 6a, a movable section 6b and a mounting section 6c. When the digital camera 1 is mounted on the section 6c, a stopper 94a provided on the section 6c fixes the camera 1. The device 6 charges the camera 1 when the camera 1 is mounted on the section 6c. Also, the device 6 is constituted in such a way that a CPU is provided in its inside to control photographing operations of the camera 1 mounted on the section 6c and image display, etc., and that the device 6 is connected to the network to make data communications to external equipment through the network. |
