PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control precisely the amount of irradiation light even when a duty ratio of a multi-pulse section varies, and compensate automatically differential quantum efficiency fluctuation to control driving current. SOLUTION: This optical information recording device irradiates a light generated from a light source 102 on an information recording medium, and forms a recording mark. In the device, a modulated waveform signal is generated based on modulation data, and an average of a modulated waveform is generated to be set a target value of light emission based on the modulation data. Bias current is controlled so that a monitor light receiving signal generated by monitoring a part of the amount of outgoing light of the light source 102 by a photo detector 103 is coincident with the target value of light emission. And then the sum of output current of the modulated waveform signal and the bias current is amplified to be used as the driving current of the light source 102. |
