PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the convenience of a waiting subscriber's phone by extending the field of activities of the waiting subscriber's phone. SOLUTION: The telephone system with call-waiting functions connected to a telephone network storing call-waiting use information is provided with; a waiting service providing means 37 for providing a service to a waiting subscriber's phone 22 when the call-waiting is used; and a waiting subscriber's phone control means 31A that identifies the waiting subscriber's phone through call control on the basis of the call-waiting use information and controls the waiting service providing means for the identified call-waiting use information.
