PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that hardware scale is expanded and a dimension, a mass and power consumption are increased since receivers or A/D converters as many as element antennas are required for a conventional digital beam forming antenna system and that a beam can not be formed and much time is required for controlling the receivers and the A/D converters without making equal the characteristics of gains and transmitting phases thereof. SOLUTION: Respectively different kinds of code modulation are applied to received signals in respective transmitting/receiving modules, the output of the transmitting/receiving module is synthesized, and in a receiver, the frequency conversion or gain control of a synthetic signal is performed. In the A/D converter, an analog signal is converted to a digital signal, afterwards, the received signal is equally distributed by the number of element antennas in a distributor, and respective signals modulated in the transmitting/receiving modules in the case of transmission are demodulated by a demodulator. In a beam former, these signals are synthesized so that the digital beam form antenna system can be provided while reducing the numbers of receivers and A/D converters.
