KANA LATTER INPUT DEVICE AND INPUT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kana letter input device which is used with easy key operation and which enables blind touch to be acquired easily and can be installed in a small area. SOLUTION: A keyboard 1 comprises two pushkeys 11 and 21 and two cross- shaped keys 12 and 22. Five vowels of Japanese and five consonants in the Japanese syllabary are allocated in a stacked manner for the five kinds of key input of the left character input key 10 composed of the left pushkey 11 and the left cross-shaped key 12. Five vowels and remaining five consonants are also allocated in a stacked manner for the five kinds of key input of the right character input key 20. When one of the two character input keys is depressed while the other is depressed, the keyboard 1 outputs a kana letter consisting of a consonant allocated to the key input of the character input key depressed first and a vowel allocated to the key input of the character input key depressed second.
