摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersion coating application method for an electrophotographic photoreceptor which prevents the occurrence of coating application unevenness, such as fine step unevenness, and forms uniform coating layers in forming the coating layers by the immersion coating application method to a material to be coated and to provide the electrophotographic photoreceptor manufactured by this immersion coating application method. SOLUTION: The immersion coating application method which is an immersion coating application method for the electrophotographic photoreceptor to immerse the material to be coated into a coating liquid and forming the coating film layer on the material to be coated, in which the specific gravity of a solvent used for this coating liquid is 0.780 to 1,200 and the material to be coated is immersed into the coating liquid in the state that air is confined into the material to be coated by positioning the aperture of the material to be coated downward and is pulled up after the immersion liquid arrives at the uppermost end and the internal air of the material to be coated is released just before the aperture of the material to be coated parts from the coating liquid surface.
