It has low toxicity to human beings and animals and effectively controlling insects, particularly mosquitoes. CONSTITUTION: An insecticide comprises the essential oil extracted from the genus Chamaecyparis, particularly Chamaecyparis obtusa (Siebold et Zucc.) Endlicher or Chamaecyparis pisifera (Siebold et Zucc.) Endlicher. Therefore, it is characterized by low toxicity to human beings and animals, superior insecticidal activity. The essential oil is extracted from Chamaecyparis obtusa (Siebold et Zucc.) Endlicher or Chamaecyparis pisifera (Siebold et Zucc.) Endlicher by distillation.
