PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display controller for a projection television is provided to support a liquid crystal panel such that the panel has 6-degree of freedom and accurately adjust the position and angle of the liquid crystal panel with respect to an optical engine. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal display controller for a projection television includes a frame(310) for supporting a predetermined apparatus, and a light-emitting device(320) that is set in the frame and emits lights for producing images. The light-emitting device reciprocates in straight line. The liquid crystal display controller further includes an optical engine(330) for irradiating the lights emitted from the light-emitting device in one direction, a liquid crystal panel adjustor(340,350) for adjusting the positions and angles of red, green and blue liquid crystal panels, and a display for displaying an image projected through the optical engine.
