PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of sintered ore is provided to enable sintered ore to be manufactured without separate process of recovering hearth layer ore by sintering sintered ore supplied from hearth layer ore hopper before sintering sintering-raw material supplied from a surge hopper. CONSTITUTION: In manufacturing sintered ore by the processes of supplying sintering raw material from hearth layer ore hopper (23) and surge hopper (22) to sintering car (24) to sinter sintering-raw materials, igniting the supplied sintering raw materials in ignition furnace (25), and sucking in heat ignited at the sintering raw materials from wind box (26) installed at the lower part of the sintering car, the manufacturing method of sintered ore is characterized in that sintered ore is manufactured by supplying the sintering raw materials supplied from the surge hopper onto the upper part of the first sintered ore, thereby sintering the sintering raw materials after first sintering sintered ore supplied to the sintering car from the hearth layer ore hopper by installing the hearth layer ore hopper in front of the surge hopper at which the ignition furnace is installed and installing an ignition furnace at the output side of the hearth layer ore hopper, wherein the sintering raw materials supplied to the hearth layer ore hopper and surge hopper are the same raw materials having an equal grain size, and wherein the supply quantity of sintering raw materials supplied to the hearth layer ore hopper (23) by the sintering car is 1/4 or less of the quantity of sintering raw materials supplied to the surge hopper by the sintering car.
