PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel support capable of smoothly moving a wheel following stretching displacement due to change in pressure given to a suspension shock absorbing mechanism. SOLUTION: When a structure 2 is jacked down in the state of a wheel support 1 being installed under a wheel 3, the structure 2 is moved down to the A direction to put the wheel 3 in contact with a sliding plate 4 and move the sliding plate 4 along a sliding groove 5a to the B direction. At this time, friction resistance between the sliding plate 4 and a base 5 is reduced by a synthetic resin layer 4a and the sliding plate 4 is guided by a guide groove 5a to smooth the movement of the wheel 3. The need for an lubricating oil to be applied between the sliding plate 4 and the base 5 is eliminated, the pollution and dirt of the wheel 3 is prevented and long-time sliding effect is maintained with no foreign matters mixed into the lubricating oil. When the structure is moved after jacked down the wheel 3 is guided to a ground surface by a slope 5b.
