PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry press molding method and apparatus for a tile preventing the mutual direct contact of molded objects in a molded object feed out process and markedly high in molding yield. SOLUTION: The upper end of a lower mold 2 is inserted in a form 1 and the molding opening 1a of the form 1 is filled with a raw material 4 and, subsequently, an upper mold 3 is inserted in the form 1 to strongly press the raw material 4 by the lower and upper molds 2 and 3 to mold the same. Next, the lower mold 2 is raised to make the upper surface of the lower mold 2 flush with the upper surface of the form 1 and the upper mold 3 is drawn up. Subsequently, the mold object 5 on the lower mold 2 is moved left and right along the upper surface of the form 1 by push plates 6 and 10. The push plate 10 runs on a guide 13 at both ends thereof to move upwardly. Therefore, the molded object 5 succeeding to the push plate 10 is transferred to a conveyor 8 so as to pass under the push plate 10 to be fed.
