Vaccine formulation comprising an immunogen, a preservative and a carrier includes a combination of at least two paraben esters and 2-phenoxyethanol as the preservative. An independent claim is also included for a stock solution for vaccine production comprising a preservative as above together with an aluminum hydroxide gel and/or quillaja saponin.
