PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the designed surface of a head portion substantially flush with the surface of a window panel and to prevent degradation of decorative property by unexpected deformation of the head portion. SOLUTION: A molding body 11 that constitutes a main body portion of the window frame molding 10 for a vehicle integrally has an inward portion 18, an outward portion 19, a head portion 12, a leg portion 21, and a window panel locking portion 22. The inward portion 18 is substantially flush with the window panel 7 and can be in contact with the window panel 7. The outward portion 19 faces toward a circumferential wall 3 of a window frame portion 2. The head portion 12 has a designed surface 13. The leg portion 21 protrudes to the back side of the head portion 12. The window panel locking portion 22 protrudes from one side of the leg portion 21 engageable with the window panel 7. An elastic lip 30 is extended from the leg portion 21, made of an elastic body softer than the molding body 11 and resiliently engageable with the circumferential wall portion of the window frame portion 3. A connection portion 31 is formed between the elastic lip 30 and the outward portion 19 of the head portion 12 with one end of the connection portion 31 connected to the elastic lip 30 and the other end connected to the outward portion 19. When mounting the window frame molding 10, the designed surface 13 of the head portion 12 substantially is almost flush with the surface of the window panel 7. |
