摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control for starting an engine of a parallel HEV power train, while retaining smooth response of a vehicle for a demand of a driver. SOLUTION: According to this control, an engine 20 is started (for example, based on the demand of a driver); a separating clutch 24 is engaged; a desired speed of a motor/generator 22 is commanded; fuel is supplied to the engine 20; and a desired engine torque is calculated. Also, for example, while a vehicle speed is retained using a proportional integral controller, the toque of the motor/ generator 22 is gradually reduced until it reaches zero, so as to increase an actual engine torque. The desired speed of the motor/generator 22 can be predicted by comparing a trajectory based on present and past vehicle speed and acceleration, or an accelerator pedal position of the vehicle, and judging whether the vehicle is in a speed control mode or not. Another control can be added to this system, such as an end control during operation of a brake of the vehicle.
