发明名称 WELDING PROCESS AND FLUX FOR SUBMERGE WELDING
摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding process preventing both reduction in release property of slag from submerge are welding and disruption of the bead shape, without requiring removal of slag generated by gas shielded arc welding. SOLUTION: This process first arranges stainless-clad steel plates 1 and 2 so at to form a groove 7, uses gas shielded arc welding to weld parent materials 3 and 4, and then uses submerge arc welding to weld mating materials 5 and 6 without removing slag 10 generated by the gas shielded arc welding. The flux used for submerge welding contains, by weight, 7-19% SiO2 , 14-31% Al2 O3 , 10-30% CaO, 13-24% MgO, and 0.5-2.5% K2 O, and is expressed by the following formula as: (total sum of mol fraction for a basic oxide)/(total sum of mol fraction for an acid oxide) with its basicity of 2.3-4.4.
