SOLUTION: In the rolling bearing rotatably arranging a plurality of rolling bodies between an outer ring and inner ring, when the rolling bodies provide a hardened layer on the surface of core portion made of a steel material and the depth of the hardened layer from the surface of the hardened layer is arranged to a position of an average value between Young's modulus of the core portion and Young's modulus on the surface of the hardened layer, the depth of the hardened layer is set to be 20μm or more, and the average Young' s modulus on the surface of the hardened layer is 220 GPa or more.
