PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for double hinged door of a control panel, which regulates door-closing order of the double hinged door of the control panel, and automatically locks the doors upon closure thereof. SOLUTION: The safety device 1 for the double hinged door of the control panel 10, is comprised of a baffle member 2, an engaging member 3, an operating member 5, and a locking member 4. The baffle member 2 is obtained by pivotally mounting a baffle 23 on a holder 20 hangingly mounted in a main body, by means of a hinge 21. The baffle 23 is erected by an elastically energizing member 22 so as to be in parallel with the main and secondary doors in a predetermined rotational range. The engaging member 3 is hung in the main body at a location behind the erected baffle 23. The operating member 5 is protruded from the secondary door 12 toward the interior of the main body. Upon door-closing operation of the secondary door 12, the operating member 5 presses the baffle 23 in a rotating direction, at a location below a rotation shaft of the hinge 21, and tilts the baffle 23 almost in the horizontal direction. The locking member 4 is protruded from the main door 11 toward the interior of the main body. The locking member 4 butts against an upper portion of the erected baffle 23, and overrides the horizontally laid baffle 23 to be engaged with the engaging member 3, followed by automatically locking the doors upon closure of the main door 11.
