PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the operation of installing a seat wagon by use of an orchestra elevator. SOLUTION: This wagon moving mechanism causes the seat wagon 2 to reciprocate via wheels 2a or the like between a pit P under the seats G and the top of an elevating floor 1a of the orchestra elevator 1 adjacent to the pit P. The seat wagon 2 is moved back and forth by a push chain 4 connected to the rear end or the rear end side thereof.
