PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate assembling work for a front body part of a car body. SOLUTION: The front body part of a car body 1 is provided with a pair of right/left front side members 2, 2; a pair of right/left front side member outer panels 3 welded (S1) to the outer side surfaces of the respective front side members 2; a dash cross member 6 placed behind both the front side members 2, extended in the width direction of the vehicle, wherein the respective end parts in the width direction are welded (S2) to the rear end parts 5 of the respective front side members 2, and end surfaces of the respective end parts 4 are welded (S3) to the respective front side member outer panels 3; and a dash panel 7 placed behind the dash cross member 6, vertically extended and welded (S4) to the dash cross member 6. The respective end parts 4 in the width direction and the intermediate part 32 of the dash cross member 6 are segmentized, and front surfaces of respective divided end parts 32a of the intermediate part 32 are joined and welded (W) to rear surfaces of divided end parts 4a of the respective end parts 4.
