CONNECTION STRUCTURE OF WINDOW SIDE MOLDING AND COWL LOUVER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appearance of a parting of a window side molding and a cowl louver. SOLUTION: This connection structure is a connection part for connecting a lower end of the window side molding 1 for covering a side edge of a windshield of a vehicle and a side end part of the cowl louver 2 for covering a lower edge of the windshield. A flange 15 protruding to a center side of the glass lower edge from a lower position through a step part 14 is provided on a terminal 13 of a lower end corner part 1b of the window side molding 1 curving along a lower end corner angle of the windshield. A side end part 22 of the cowl louver 2 covers the flange 15, and a side end edge 24 of the cowl louver 2 is connected to the terminal 13 of the lower end corner part 1b. A positioning rib 4 protruding downward is provided on a lower surface of the side end part 22 of the cowl louver 2, and a fitting groove 3 in correspondence with the positioning rib 4 is provided on the flange 15 of the lower end corner part 1b of the window side molding 1. The positioning rib 4 is fitted into the fitting groove 3 so that the side end part of the cowl louver is laterally positioned.
