A system for providing purchasing metrics that are used to identify purchasing costs savings opportunities. The system includes multiple databases, at least one processing component, and a reporting component. The databases receive and store purchasing data from numerous client applications. The processing component cleanses and categorizes data in at least one of the databases. The reporting component enables users to select and display reports on procurement sources, wherein the reports identify purchasing cost saving opportunities.
