<p>Acoustic and electro-magnetic (pulse or modulated radar and X-ray) data acquisition frequently requires the use of detectors arranged in an array. In this way, the data acquired by each detector in the array can be integrated to improve the quality and accuracy of data retrieved. The present invention provides a system and method for the calibration of detectors for quality assurance. Preferably, the system and method are suitable for field application immediately prior to and post data acquisition.</p> |
