An auto−opening pouring device for a container comprises a reclosable closure (2) formed with a cam surface (8), and a spout fitment (60) comprising a tubular section (24), a pivotable opening element (62) comprising a cam follower (32) and a piercing portion (64). The pivotable opening element (62) is attached to the tubular section (24) by a hinge (66) and the piercing portion (64) is disposed radially from the pivot axis of the hinge (66), the arrangement being such that in use the piercing port (64) of the opening element (62) is initially disposed adjacent a weakened region of a container and the hinge (66) is distant from the weakened region, and as the closure is unscrewed the piercing portion (64) is pivoted about the hinge (66) and breaks through the weakened region.
