HEAT ABSORBING AND EMITTING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medium with a large amount of heat absorbed and emitted when temperature changes within a given range. SOLUTION: A medium which absorbs heat from a peripheral area and emits absorbed heat to the peripheral area is provided with capsule particles formed by covering with a film a latent heat storage material in which heat is accumulated as a latent heat by phase transformation when absorbing heat from the peripheral area and the latent heat is discharged by phase transformation when emitting heat to the peripheral area, and with a liquid for containing the capsule particles. In the medium, the phase transformation temperature of the latent heat storage material is within the range of the temperature which the peripheral area normally takes.
