PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a white ink composition capable of printing letters, drawing pictures and carrying out writing on nonabsorbing surfaces of sheets made of resins, cloths, resin plates, surface-coated paper, metal plates, glass, leather, potteries, wood or rubber and having excellent jetting stability. SOLUTION: This white ink composition comprises titanium oxide and at least polar organic solvent having 150-200 deg.C boiling point such as ethyl lactate, propyl lactate, butyl lactate, cyclohexanone, cyclohexanol, 3-methyl-3- methoxybutanol, ethylene glycol monobutyl ether acetate or methyl benzoate.
