PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control method of a stepless variable speed gear that can prevent a belt slipping, at low vehicle speed and secure proper driving force at acceleration. SOLUTION: When it is determined that vehicle speed is turning into low vehicle speed condition by a speed determining means 45, a pressure control means 40 controls that an input axis belt pulley 31 of a stepless variable speed gear 21 strengthens and also weakens the pressure that sandwiches a belt 30 by specified times. The belt slippage is prevented at low vehicle speed, by strengthening the pressure and the lack of driving power at the time of acceleration by a shift up can be prevented by weakening the pressure. The same control can be done, even if it makes the pressure strengthen, after a regular delay time passes at low vehicle speed. |
