PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exposure controlling mechanism for camera which regulates the maximum optical path area of object light independent of an opening part of ground plate and is suitable for reducing cost and making the thickness thinner. SOLUTION: A main ground plate 1 arranged on the object side and an auxiliary ground plate 2 arranged on the imaging surface side are thick and are made of synthetic resin and, between the main ground plate 1 and the auxiliary ground plate 2, a diaphragm blade 9, a shutter blade 7 and a shutter blade 8 are arranged in order from the object side. Further, a large circular opening part 9b and a small circular opening part 9c are formed on the diaphragm blade 9 and the opening part 9b regulates the maximum optical path area of the object light. As a result, the opening part 1a of the main ground plate 1 is allowed to be larger without interposing a specified member, therefore, the reflected light on the edge surface of the opening part 1a is not guided to the imaging surface, and the cost-reducing and the thickness between the ground plates 1, 2 can be reduced.
