PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nickel powder which can prevent structural defects such as cracks in a laminated ceramic electronic component having an internal electrode, a manufacturing method therefor, a paste thereof, and the laminated ceramic electronic component using the same. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing a nickel powder has a step of coprecipitating a nickel-base metal containing nickel as a main component and a metal oxide or a metallic composite oxide, with a liquid-phase reaction, as powders.
