PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for article preservation, which is advantageous in terms of economy, ease of handling during the manufacture of a bag, workability during the filling of contents, ease of opening a sealed container and the like, by virtue of the use of an oxygen-absorbing multi-layered film having small overall thickness and excellent strength and flexibility. SOLUTION: The oxygen-absorbing multi-layered film comprises: an outer layer which is composed of a thermoplastic resin; an adhesive layer; a reinforcing layer which is composed of the thermoplastic resin; the adhesive layer; and a sealant layer which is composed of an oxygen-absorbing layer, in which an iron-based oxygen absorbent is contained in the thermoplastic resin, and an oxygen-permeable thermoplastic resin. The adhesive layer is composed of a gas-barrier epoxy resin cured product of an epoxy resin and an epoxy resin curing agent, which contains a xylylenediamine unit (N-CH2-C6H4-CH2-N) of 30 wt.% or more. An article is hermetically sealed by using the oxygen- absorbing multi-layered film, and heated for sterilization at 85-150 deg.C.
