SOLUTION: The ink jet device is provided with a piezoelectric drive head, a drive pulse generating circuit generating a drive pulse A, and a control circuit. An inflection point Y is on the way in a fall of the drive pulse A. A fall waveform includes a first slope AF1 from a fall starting point X to the inflection point Y, and a second slope AF2 from the inflection point Y to a fall ending point Z. The tilt of the first slope AF1 is steeper than that of the second slope AF2.
