PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that a white streak is generated at the time of forming a solid print because ink drops ejected from ejection ports located on the opposite end sides in the arranging direction thereof in an ink jet printer are biased to the central side in the arranging direction. SOLUTION: The print head 19 comprises a plurality of ejection ports 25 arranged in a first direction along the carrying direction of a print medium and a plurality of ejection energy generating section for ejecting liquid from the ejection ports 25 and moves while scanning along the print medium in a second direction intersecting the first direction. The print head further comprises a base plate 27, an upper plate member 36 protrusively provided at the center of the base plate 27 and having a plurality of the ejection ports 25 opened on its surface, and a guide member 38 protrusively provided at the base plate 27 in proximity to the upper plate member 36 in the second direction and having a guide surface 39 extending in the first direction on the opposite side of the upper member 36.
