摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a grasping mechanism to apply to a columnar object of which the inapplicable large diametral flange in an usual way is formed by comprising an entirety of the grasping mechanism in order to make openably. SOLUTION: The grasping mechanism for the columnar object comprises a turnable basic plate arranged within the case body, three pieces of pivotal pins provided on this turnable basic plate, a sub-layer having the rear end thereof supported in a pivotal state with these pivotal pins, three pieces of main levers having each rear end thereof supported respectively in the pivotal state with ah anchor pin, the member for grasping a tip end on each tip end of this main lever supported turnably and in the pivotal state and the tip end of the above sub-lever coupled to the substantially intermediate position of the above main lever in the pivoted state. This grasping mechanism for the columnar object is characterized by dividing a case body and a turnable basic body into two pieces while avoiding the mounting position of an anchor pin, by mounting an openable axial pin in the divided end of one side in the case body, by mounting a locking member used to fix the case body divided into two pieces integrally near the divided end of the other side in the case body.
