PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a deaerated can which enables to inexpensively manufacture a deaerated can completely deaerated inside the can body and firmly seamed with a can lid easily. SOLUTION: The can lid 3 is placed on the can body filled with a content and temporarily fixed to it in a temporary fixing process. Then deaeration is executed in a deaeration process by sucking air inside the can through crevices between the temporarily fixed can lid 3 and a flange part of the can body. Then seaming of the can lid 3 with the deaerated can body is performed in a seaming process. In the temporary fixing process, and a peripheral edge of the lid 3 is rotated and pressure-jointed through plural curl forming grooves 6 arranged with gaps 7 in-between. Through the curl forming grooves 6, the curled part is formed in the outer periphery of the can lid 3, while some air passages are formed by the gaps 7 in the outer peripheral part of the can lid 3.
