<p>A POS server (100) for instantly responding to a request of a shop terminal and for managing the transactions of commodities at a plurality of shops. The POS server (100) comprises a transaction database for storing therein the content of commodity transaction made at a shop terminal (300) installed at a shop, a reception unit for receiving from the shop terminal (300) such a database operation instruction to allow the transaction database to reflect the transaction at least each time the commodity transaction with one customer is completed, and a database updating unit for updating the transaction database according the database operation instruction received.</p> |
