<p>The invention concerns a method, a system and a switch (9) for associating at least an auxiliary server (1) of a content routing network with a computer network (3) equipment (2), transmitting a request (4) for access to a resource (5). The computer network (3) comprises at least a name server (6). The method consists in intercepting and processing among requests (4) addressed to the name server (6), the one concerning resolution for at least one name. The processing of each of the intercepted requests consists in: modifying the intercepted request (4) by introducing in the request (4) an identifier characterizing a network address of the transmitting equipment (2), then transmitting the modified request (4) to said name server (6) whereto the request (4) was normally addressed, transmitting to said equipment (2) a reply to said modified request (4) provided by said name server (6). The reply contains network addresses of auxiliary servers (1) optimizing access to said resource (5).</p> |
