The wheel hub (1) drive has a force sensor (7) for controlling the drive arranged inside the hub to detect the force effect of the traction arrangement on the axle via the wheel driven by pedal movement. The relative movement of the traction element with respect to the wheel hub and the hub revolution rate are also detected.
