A handset for communication equipment capable of eliminating such a problem with a conventional handset that howling is liable to occur when the handset is used by a partially deaf person, characterized in that a bone conduction speaker is stored in the upper part of a case, a microphone is stored in the lower part of the case, and the sound holes of a microphone part are formed in the bottom surface and/or bottom side surfaces of the case, whereby, even wh en the handset is used with an increased output of the speaker, the possibility of occurrence of howling can be reduced.
