X-ray mammography unit has a mounting arm (1) for the X-ray tube, an object table and a compression plate (2) that is also mounted on the tube mounting arm. Between the compression plate and the table is an X-ray transparent film, one end of which is connected to the compression plate. Tensioning means (4) are provided with which the film can be tensioned relative to the object table. - Optimally the film is made of polyurethane. |
